Thank you for using UniVoice. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the UniVoice mobile application (“App”).

1. Information We Collect

a. Personal Information

If you sign in (e.g., with Apple or Google), we may collect:
- Email address
- Display name
- Unique user ID

We do not collect your password. Authentication is handled by Apple, Google, or Firebase.

b. App Usage Data

To maximize user privacy, UniVoice does not collect any app usage data related to feature interaction, language choices, or device behavior.

The only usage data we store is the duration of each session for:

Managing free trial limits
Calculating paid usage time for billing

No usage analytics, tracking, or behavioral profiling is performed.

c. Speech Data

UniVoice processes your spoken input either locally on your device or through trusted third-party services such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and Open AI to deliver accurate speech recognition, translation, summary and text polishing.

We want to be clear:

🛑 UniVoice does NOT store, log, or retain any raw audio data. Ever.

Audio is streamed temporarily for real-time transcription and translation only.
No recordings are stored on your device or our servers.
We do not use your voice data for analytics, model training, or profiling.

Your privacy is at the core of UniVoice’s design.

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide and improve app functionality
To personalize language and translation features
To calculate and manage your remaining usage time
To improve speech recognition accuracy (aggregated, anonymized)

3. Data Storage & Security

Authentication and time-tracking data are securely stored via Firebase Authentication and Firestore.
We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) for all data transmissions.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.

4. Account & Authentication Privacy

UniVoice uses trusted authentication providers such as Firebase, Sign in with Apple, and Google Sign-In to manage user accounts.

🔐 We do NOT submit your login credentials (such as email or password) to any third-party translation or speech service.

Your account information is used only for authentication and session tracking, and is securely handled through end-to-end encrypted channels.

We never share your identity, email, or authentication tokens with Azure, Google Cloud, or any other third-party provider.
All identity and usage data remains within Firebase or Apple/Google authentication frameworks.

5. User Controls

You can:

Sign out or delete your account at any time Attention! Deleting your account will permanently delete your account and any remaining usage time. This action cannot be undone!
Reset your trial usage manually
Contact us to request data deletion

We will respond to such requests within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Children’s Privacy

UniVoice is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
